Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Belot Arena at belotarena.com ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Belot Arena.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Belot Arena — including playing games, creating an account, or simply browsing the platform — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Service immediately.

Your continued use of the Service following any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater), to use Belot Arena. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are under 18 but at least 13 years of age, you may only use the Service with verifiable parental or legal guardian consent, and a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed at children under 13.

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is operated by a person who does not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Service Description

Belot Arena is an online platform for playing the traditional card game Belot. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by display advertising. We offer:

  • Single-player games against AI opponents of varying difficulty
  • Online multiplayer games with real players in public matchmaking
  • Private rooms for games with friends
  • A global leaderboard and ELO-based ranking system
  • Club features for group play and tournaments
  • Optional premium subscriptions (Gold, Platinum, Diamond) that unlock cosmetic features and an ad-free experience

We make no guarantee regarding the availability, uptime, or continued development of any feature. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice or liability.

4. Account Rules

You may play Belot Arena as a guest (anonymous session) without creating a registered account. If you choose to register, the following rules apply:

  • One account per person. Each individual may maintain only one registered account. Creating multiple accounts ("multi-accounting") to gain ranking advantages, circumvent bans, or otherwise manipulate the system is strictly prohibited.
  • Account responsibility. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any actions taken by others to whom you grant access. You must keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
  • Non-transferability. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, gifted, or shared with any other person.
  • Anonymous play. Guest sessions are subject to all conduct rules. Repeated abuse from anonymous sessions may result in IP-level restrictions.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You agree not to:

  • Cheat or exploit. Use any software, tool, script, exploit, or technique that manipulates game logic, outcomes, or rankings, including card-marking, timing exploits, or client-side manipulation.
  • Use bots or automation. Deploy automated programs, bots, macros, or AI-assisted tools to play on your behalf or to farm ratings and rewards.
  • Collude in ranked play. Coordinate with opponents or partners in ranked or competitive games to fix results, trade wins, or otherwise manipulate the leaderboard.
  • Harass or abuse others. Send threatening, abusive, obscene, or discriminatory messages to other users via the in-game chat or any other channel.
  • Use hate speech. Publish or transmit content that promotes violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
  • Impersonate staff. Claim to be a Belot Arena employee, moderator, or representative, or otherwise misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Intentional disconnection. Repeatedly and deliberately disconnecting during ranked games to avoid a loss or harm other players.
  • Abuse reporting systems. Submit false or malicious reports against other users.
  • Attack infrastructure. Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or conduct denial-of-service attacks.
  • Scrape or harvest. Use automated means to access, scrape, index, or collect data from the Service without our express written permission.

Violation of any conduct rule may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion.

6. Premium Subscriptions

Belot Arena offers optional recurring subscription plans (Gold, Platinum, Diamond) that provide access to cosmetic items, an ad-free experience, and other benefits as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

  • Billing and auto-renewal. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually as selected). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings page or by contacting dumbakod@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to premium features until then.
  • Refund policy. Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced and premium features have been made available, except where required by applicable law (including EU consumer rights legislation). Unused trial periods, where offered, may be refunded at our discretion.
  • Price changes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Your continued subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

7. Virtual Items

Belot Arena may offer virtual cosmetic items including card backs, avatars, table themes, and other in-game decorations ("Virtual Items") as part of premium subscriptions or future purchase options.

  • Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, cryptocurrency, or any real-world currency.
  • Virtual Items are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, gifted, or shared between accounts.
  • Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold. Your license to use Virtual Items is contingent on your account remaining in good standing and the continued operation of the Service.
  • We reserve the right to modify, retire, or remove Virtual Items at any time without compensation.
  • If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, you forfeit all Virtual Items without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Belot Arena — including but not limited to software code, user interface design, graphics, animations, sound effects, logos, text, and the overall look and feel of the Service — are owned by Belot Arena or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from our Service without our prior written consent.

Note: Belot as a traditional card game is in the public domain. These intellectual property rights apply solely to our specific implementation, design, code, and branding.

9. Fair Play and Anti-Cheat

We are committed to maintaining a fair and competitive environment. To this end:

  • We actively monitor game sessions for patterns consistent with collusion, bot usage, rating manipulation, and other forms of cheating.
  • We may use automated systems to flag accounts exhibiting suspicious behavior. Flagged accounts may be reviewed by our team and may have ranking changes reversed, receive warnings, or be suspended.
  • We may analyze game decision patterns, timing data, and statistical anomalies as part of fair play enforcement. This data may be used as evidence in disciplinary actions.
  • If you discover a bug or exploit that could affect game fairness, you are required to report it to dumbakod@gmail.com and must not use or share it. Responsible disclosure may be rewarded at our discretion.
  • Decisions made by our anti-cheat systems are final, though you may appeal by contacting support. We are not required to disclose the specific evidence or methods used in any enforcement decision.

10. Chat and Communication

Belot Arena provides in-game chat and messaging features. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for all content you post, send, or otherwise transmit through the Service.
  • We may, but are not obligated to, monitor chat and communications for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content, mute, or restrict the communication privileges of any user at our discretion and without prior notice.
  • Do not share personal information (phone numbers, addresses, financial details) through in-game chat.
  • Content transmitted through the Service may be stored and reviewed by our moderation team for safety purposes.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.

Permanent bans are irreversible. If your account has been permanently banned, you may not create a new account. Doing so constitutes a further violation of these Terms and may result in additional legal action.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting dumbakod@gmail.com. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the loss of all game data, statistics, and Virtual Items with no right to recovery or refund.

12. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BELOT ARENA AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GAME PROGRESS, LOSS OF VIRTUAL ITEMS, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR €50 (FIFTY EUROS), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Belot Arena and its owners, officers, employees, partners, contractors, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service
  • Any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful conduct by you

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in Bulgaria, and you hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also have the right to submit a complaint to the Online Dispute Resolution platform of the European Commission at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where feasible, notify registered users via email or an in-app notice.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
