Belot Arena in short

Belot Arena is a free online platform for Bulgarian Bridge-Belot. You can play quick casual matches, ranked games with a rating, public and private rooms, and games against bots. The rules follow the classic Bulgarian variant – bidding from clubs up to All Trumps, contra and recontra, declarations and play to 151 points.

Belot Arena is not a gambling game. There are no stakes, tokens, cash prizes or ways to buy better cards.

Frequently asked questions

Is the game free?

Yes. All game modes – casual, ranked, rooms and games against bots – are free. There may be optional premium features such as cosmetics or conveniences, but they never give any advantage in the deal or in play.

Is there betting, tokens or money?

No. Belot Arena involves no money stakes, no virtual currency for betting and no cash prizes. Contra and recontra only affect the game score. The game is meant for fun and competition, not gambling.

How do I play with friends?

Create a private room from the home screen. The system generates a room code that you send to your friends. They enter the code in the join field and take their seats. The game starts once all four seats are taken.

Can I practise against the computer?

Yes. Bot games start instantly, with no waiting for other players. They are ideal for learning the rules, trying new tactics and playing when you are short on time. There is also an interactive tutorial and puzzles with specific situations.

What is the difference between casual and ranked?

Casual matches are for relaxed play and do not change your rating. Ranked matches affect your rating and your place on the leaderboard. Every new player starts at a rating of 1200, which goes up with wins and down with losses. Ranked play requires a registered account.

Is there a mobile app?

The site works directly in the mobile browser on phones and tablets, with nothing to install. The iOS and Android apps are in beta and will be rolled out gradually.

How are the cards shuffled?

Cards are shuffled and dealt by the server. No player, including the room creator, can see or influence the deal. Before the deal the player before the dealer cuts the deck, just like at a real table.

What happens if my internet drops?

The active game is kept and you can return to it when the connection is restored – the home screen will offer to continue. While you are away your moves are played automatically so the others do not have to wait.

How long do I have for a move?

Each move has a 30-second timer. If time runs out, the system plays for you. After several missed moves in a row we ask whether you are still at the table, and if you do not respond you are removed from the game so the table is not blocked for others.

Which rules are used?

The classic rules of Bulgarian Bridge-Belot: 32 cards, four players in two teams, bidding clubs – diamonds – hearts – spades – No Trumps – All Trumps, contra and recontra, the declarations tierce, quarte, quinte, four of a kind and belot, capot with a 90-point bonus, and play to 151 points. Details are on the rules page.

How many points is a game?

A game is played to 151 game points. The raw points of each hand are divided by 10 and rounded. If both teams pass 151 in the same hand, the team with more points wins; on an exact tie play continues.

Where can I learn the rules?

Start with the Belot rules and Belot scoring pages, then read about bidding and declarations. The interactive tutorial guides you step by step through your first hand, and bots are great for practice.

How do I delete my account?

Open the account deletion page (/delete-account) and follow the instructions. You can also email us from the address linked to your account. Deletion removes your profile, statistics and personal data as described in our privacy policy.

Will I see ads during a game?

No. If we show ads, they are served by Google AdSense only on informational pages such as rules and articles – never at the table, in the match queue or during a hand.

How do I report bad behaviour?

If someone breaks the rules, is abusive or you suspect cheating, email dumbakod@gmail.com with the username, the date and a short description. After each game you can also rate your partner, which helps us identify problem players.
